I already have a card reader, but the pictures do not come from or unreadable when I try to open it.

Well, it seems that you are on your RAW image files much more loaded.
What you need is a program to "process" to do so high-resolution JPEG or TIFF, I think.
I do not know what camera model you have, but after these two factors, you have two options.
* Some software should have come with the camera to read and convert RAW files.
* Have Photoshop CS2 and CS3 and Photoshop Elements v.6 Raw plug-ins that allow you to process RAW images in Photoshop. If you recently a Nikon or Canon camera, you have to use CS3 or 4.x Raw plug-in does not work.

To view it, you can create a plug-in for Windows Explorer.
