I have a 30 inch Samsung HDTV and I have a 5-disc DVD changer JVC 5.1 surround sound. JVC DVD player was broken system, but I have another backup DVD, I wonder what I use to connect to connect to a JVC surround sound with optical cable TV, and simply use the JVC as a receptor for may surround sound

I think the answer is no, but I think your question is very confusing, so I'm not sure what you offer.

For example, you want the sound or the TV ... The problem seems to both? If the shift lever from JVC 5-disc player is broken ... and the device continues as a normal DVD (1) player or nothing will work anymore? How does a DVD player works like a receiver?

The last part of your question ... "... I connect TP to the TV with the fiber optic cable," shows that you try to surround-sound TV. If so, we will isolate a fwew things here.

First, surround sound, if you can make an optical input on the TV and a DVD on a solid undo it on TV ... When the TV to the surround speakers (which is rare) is connected. Normally it takes optical (or digital coaxial) output from a DVD player to an AV receiver on and then the surround speakers to the receiver. The DVD player via Composite, S-Video, Component, or DVI-go / HDMI to the receiver (or directly to theTV if you do not want the A / V receiver) to the input switch and then by a similar cable TV. This configuration provides the best sound without going through the amplifier and the speakers and TV ususually poor with a quality A / V Surround.

However, try to understand your question seems to (???) of the audio on JVC DVD player connected to store and use a substiute / backup DVD to play the DVD? That will not work because the backup of DVD video and audio, and JVC is not something broken, not able to see the audio broadcast.

Then simply replace the backup of DVD JVC (assuming that the JVC has been working as you wish). I can not imagine who does not have digital optical or coaxial. Anyone can enter, surround sound.

In any case, my best answer ... Good luck.
